Some how it is already late November… Where has the time gone?  We have some news for you, are you ready?  The Loeffler’s are having a GIRL!!!!  A few weeks ago we found out that the lil nugget growing in my belly is going to be Luke’s lil sister.  Neither Adam or I had a feeling of boy or girl and when we saw on the ultrasound that it was a lil girl we were so excited!  We are due sometime mid-March and we eagerly await her arrival.

On the day to day our lil man Luke is keeping us quite busy.  He continues to surprise us with everything that he remembers and the ways in which he can follow directions!  There aer several things that he can accomplish on his own like getting his shoes when its time to go, bringing his shoes to his room when we ask him to put them away, finding his sippy cup, blanket and paci, and helping dress himself (kind ofJ)!  He is quite particular when it comes to messes and like his mom he loves to pick up after himself—toys, food, or anything that isn’t ‘supposed’ to be on the floor he will tidy up by putting it where it should go or simply throwing it in the trash!  With his independence come the daily tantrums, as his vocabulary doesn’t yet allow him to express what he wants!  It is funny at times but also I can feel his frustration when I know he wants to communicate so much!  Pointing with his little finger can only communicate so much that is on his little mindJ

His TOP TEN WORDS are:  Daddy, ball, shoes, cheese, no, more, mom, fish, juice, and this.

He loves to read books, feed himself, wave, smile, roar like a lion, blow kisses, give high fives, dance to music, play his Ugandan drum, catch, throw and kick balls, drink juice, and play with his friends!  He is a little charmer and brings joy to pretty much everyone he is around!  He is a little social butterfly even at 17 months old!

We are thankful for all that God is doing with our family.  Adam and I are still continuing to take classes along with many other things that fill our days.  We will be writing a newsletter soon to update you on our upcoming year!  So stay tuned for all of the new that will be coming are way!  We love you!  God Bless!
